	Sail training for children in optimists

The Phuket Yacht Club is based in Ao Yon, close to Cape Panwa, South Phuket on one of the most beautiful bays of Phuket. It is mainly a dingy Yacht Club.
At the moment the Yacht Club has 74 members.

Most Sundays there are  family days on the Phuket Yacht Club. Families are welcome to come with their children to attend a sailing class in one of the sponsored optimists under the always enthousiastic supervision of Katie Firmin.
The children need to have the minimum age of 8 years old.
The first 3 times are for free, after that you either have to become a member of the Phuket Yacht Club or pay for the classes.

Adults can also enjoy sail training or sail on board a Firefly racing Catamaran The Frog, which is also based in Ao Yon and on some sundays available for a sail.
